Dice Buying Rigzone Website

Rigzone includes a job board and gets more than 500,000 unique visits a month and has more than 270,000 résumés in its database, according to Dice.

Dice Holdings Inc. announced it acquired Rigzone, a website serving the oil and gas industry. The deal calls for Dice to pay $39 million in cash and up to $16 million in earn-outs.

Rigzone provides news and other information, including a job board. Rigzone gets more than 500,000 unique visits a month and has more than 270,000 résumés in its database, according to Dice.

Dice operates career websites for information technology, engineering, financial services and other professionals.
